Thanks to combined work of Grytsenko P.Y. (Doctor of Philological Science, professor, head of Dialectology Department of Ukrainian Language Institute of National Academy of Science of Ukraine) Linguo- geographical School of Eastern - Slobozhan and Donetsk Dialects was created. Anatoliy S. Zelenko (Doctor of Philological Science, professor) initiated the creation of a scientific school and explained his theory of structural- semantic analysis of vocabulary of literary language and dialect from the view point of linguistic determinism.

Alexander A. Galych (Doctor of Philological Science, professor) initiated the creation of a scientific school which deals with research of documentary literature.
Petr A. Budyvs'ky (professor) studies the problems of folklore.
